New Cool Stuff at the Chestermere Public Library

Chestermere Public Library members now have access to even more downloadable eBooks with 3M Cloud Library. This system is compatible with most Apple and Android phones and devices, and eReaders such as Kobo, Nook and Kindle Fire.
You can also read on your PC or Mac computer. Currently there are over 1700 ebooks to choose from! You can check out up to 10 ebooks at a time and the lending period is 3 weeks. You can also place holds on ebooks which are out.
It seems like everyone is excited to try out the new 3M Cloud Library! As such, a lot of titles are currently checked out and have holds on already.
If you are wondering how to only look at what IS currently available, use the Advanced Filter to select “Available to Check Out” (under the Collections tab or the Search tab). Also, when you are finished with an ebook, please check it back in (under the My Books tab) so that it is available for the next person.
A nice feature of 3M Cloud Library is using the Advanced Filter option “Include books not in library.” This search will return results that include ebooks that are not currently purchased. While you cannot checkout an ebook that is not owned by the Library, you can add it to your wish list. This will submit a request for the Library to purchase the ebook.
To get started, click on the 3M Cloud Library logo at http://www.chestermerepubliclibrary.com
or visit ebook.3m.com/library/trac/. You will need your Library barcode number and pin to login. Having problems? Click on the i symbol for the help page including instruction videos, or come into the Library for hands on help.
