During the late evening an early morning hours of October 8-9th, suspects canvassed the Rainbow Falls area of Chestermere and entered a significant number of parked vehicles stealing various items including loose change, electronics and other personal items left unattended in mostly unlocked vehicles. The suspects further entered some unlocked garages for theft purposes. Three motivated and organized suspects were later reported in the area around midnight/ 2:00 a.m. carrying flashlights and trying vehicle doors. Residents who note such activity are encouraged to call the Chestermere RCMP right away utilizing the 911 number.
Any residents who have yet to report a theft are encouraged to contact the Chestermere RCMP at (403) 204-8777 should stolen property be later recovered.

Chestermere residents are further reminded to always lock their unattended vehicles, not to store easily removed valuables within their vehicles or at least ensure they are out of sight and to lock their garage doors.
