Test Drives For A Cause

Putting the ‘FUN' in Fundraising

When you typically hear the word ‘fundraiser’, you probably think of bottle drives, product selling or something that will take up your whole day. But what if you could help raise money for the Chestermere Public Library by simply taking a vehicle for a test drive? And…. You could do it right here in Chestermere.
On Sunday, October 4, from 11:00am until 4:00pm, you can take a test drive in a new Ford vehicle and help the Chestermere Public Library. The event is called “Drive 4UR Community” and there will be a variety of 2015 and 2016 vehicles to choose from.
The generous folks of Marlborough Ford are bringing with them a Mustang, F150, Transit, F350, Escape, Explorer, Fiesta, Fusion and Expedition and some other exciting Ford vehicles for you to come out and take for a spin.
For every test drive, Ford will donate $20.00 to the Chestermere Public Library. Completing a test drive also entitles you to enter in a draw for a great gift basket which has movies, goodies and a $25 gift card to Safeway.
Pre-registering by contacting the Library ensures that you get to drive the vehicle of your choice, or you can just show up Sunday and drive an available car or truck – but you must bring your driver’s license and proof of insurance.
This is the first time the Chestermere Public Library has held a fundraiser like this, but library staff say that the funds raised go to important programming and bringing in new books and other items for the library to ensure great service for the guests that visit them.
A 10 minute test drive is all it takes to help support our local library! Contact the library today to book your test drive!
