July 22nd – 24th was the annual Langdon Days event which brought thousands out to check out the popular event

On July 22nd – 24th the Langdon Community Association held the annual Langdon Days. The weather was gorgeous and the community came out in droves to celebrate summer and take in all this event had to offer.

This three-day event has something for everyone and never disappoints. As the food trucks rolled into Langdon on Friday, the event kicked off with the start of the slo-pitch tournament and the opening of the Beer Gardens.

Day two started bright an early with the slo-pitch tournament picking back up at 7am and then a free pancake breakfast which was sponsored this year by Langdon Dental. Under gorgeous blue sky with the sun shining bright, thousands came out to check out the event.

The always-popular parade had residents, friends and families lining the streets to see the creative parade entries. Following the parade, the day was full of kids activities, games, vendor market and for the over 18 crowd, the beer gardens kept the adults entertained into the wee hours of the morning.

Sunday wrapped up the event with the completion of the slo-pitch tournament, a community church service in the newly constructed Community Garden and then a Show and Shine which brought out some gorgeous cars and trucks for event goers to check out.

During and following the event, Langdon social media pages were full of comments from the public thanking organizers and volunteers for the remarkable job done to bring this event to Langdon.
