For years, Lifepath Wellness has been a staple in the Chestermere community. Not only providing state of the art dental and wellness services to its patients, but also giving back to our city. April 16th, 2016 opened up the doors to a brand new adventure for the Lifepath team. Chestermere Station Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics construction began in August of 2015, and opened to the public on February 1, 2016. “Our team includes Dr. Ethan Zuker (Pediatric Dentist), Dr. John Huynh (Orthodontist), Dr. Seema Basati (Endodontist), Dr. Troy Basarb (Periodontist) and Curtis Wiebe (Denturist).”, explains Melanie Scott, Executive Assistant at Lifepath Wellness. Scott continued, “We have a strong team to offer outstanding care to patients with prompt and punctual service in a caring, compassionate, fun environment. At Chestermere Station, we take great pride in providing world-extensive health care services in an environment that is exciting for every member of our community”. From the moment you pull up outside the building, the theme becomes abundantly clear – an old fashioned train station that is nothing short of amazing. You are transported back-in-time as soon as you enter the early 1900’s replica train station, architecturally designed to replicate the City of Chestermere’s original train station. This unique facility includes a small Wild West town specifically constructed to represent this era. The waiting room also displays a replica train engine with the audio and visual effect of an actual train. The grand opening celebration consisted of a complimentary Old Fashioned BBQ that provided delicious food while audiences watched in amazement as Guns of the Golden West – Canada’s Original Wild West Show – performed their live Western Gun Show throughout the day. There were plenty of other activities on hand that included dart gun target practice, a bouncy castle, face painting, balloon twisters, and a family dance with music provided by a live DJ. And of course, a tour of this exciting new facility. “At Chestermere Station, we take great pride in providing world-class health care in an environment that is unique and exciting for every member of our community”, adds Scott. Dr. Jed Snatic, the visionary behind it all, says that this new facility added with the other services Lifepath offers will bring people from all over to Chestermere. “We’ve had patients from Chestermere, Calgary, Strathmore etc.. The specialists will draw thousands of patients from the entire province, BC and south Saskatchewan. The Station relived space pressure that we had in Lifepath and it gives room to accommodate our loyal patients”. Dr. Snatic adds that the services at ‘The Station’ are about 80% specialists for kids – braces, gums and root canals. The other 20% is hygiene, denturists and dental.
