No injuries after crash that destroyed fence on Cove Road

Chestermere RCMP responded to a single vehicle collision July 12 after receiving reports that a car had struck a fence on Cove Road.
Police attended the scene at about 7:30 p.m. to find a sedan with significant front end damage and a fence that was destroyed by the impact.
Witnesses to the crash led RCMP to the driver of the car who was uninjured in the collision.
The adult male driver and Chestermere resident was arrested on scene and is charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle Over 80mg.
RCMP can’t release the drivers name until the charges are sworn before the courts.
Police are continuing to investigate and would like to hear from anyone with information about the collision.
