Strathmore RCMP responding to semi-roll over on Hwy 1

Chestermere, Alberta – Strathmore RCMP are responding to a semi trailer roll over on Highway 1 at Paradise Road, West of the town of Chestermere.
A semi truck reported to be hauling gravel and sulphur has rolled in the eastbound lanes of the highway, spilling the load onto the road and ditch. Emergency crews have stopped traffic on the eastbound lanes while the scene is cleared and the collision investigated.
There are no reports of serious injuries in this collision.
RCMP are asking motorists to avoid eastbound travel on highway 1 in the area while crews work to clear the scene.
