CHESTERMERE– A request to re-designate a piece of rural residential property to business park/light industrial has forced the Town of Chestermere into making a difficult ruling. In March 2011, Chestermere resident Steve Grande applied to re-designate an approximately ten-acre parcel of land. The application was presented before council during a public hearing on July 18 at Town Hall. He said he used to see a nearby Jugo Juice stand, which he saw as a great opportunity to offer people another healthy alternative.
