GRANT – Megan Kathleen

1987 – 2009
Meg passed away peacefully following a courageous struggle on March 3, 2009 at the Foothills Hospital from complications due to a tragic car accident in August of 2008. She is the cherished daughter of Brian (Jen) Grant and Jackie Jones (David Beale). She will be lovingly remembered by her partner, Adam Richardet; brothers: Matthew (Bonnie) Grant, Murray Grant and Mark Grant; grandparents: Millie and George Morfitt and Winnifred Grant; her special Auntie Elsie and many other treasured aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her grandfathers, Vernie Jones and Doug Grant; great grandparents, Paul and Mary Mizera and aunts, Debbie Berdusco and Ivy Kellner. Megan’s vivacious personality enabled her to touch everyone she met. A favorite with her young cousins, Meg was a traditional gal who loved to bake, especially her infamous Chocolate Chip Cookies. She loved to quad, camp and boss her brothers around. Family always came first with her and she was eager to lend a helping hand whenever needed. Megan loved her chosen career as a Dental Assistant. A Memorial Service was held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 10:00 am. Cremation and Interment, Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to the fantastic Medical Team of Foothills Hospital, the ICU and Unit 112. If so desired, a memorial donation in Megan’s name may be made in trust for medical equipment and may be directed to the family.
