It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Donna Mae Helen Timmermans (nee Heinzlmeir) of Chestermere on Tuesday December 26, 2017, born May 9, 1941 in Baintree, AB. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 53 years, John; children Brenda (Ken) of Lacombe, Laura (Ian) of Chestermere, Karen (Sandy) of Chestermere and Leroy (Lisa) of Unity, SK. Donna is also survived by her grandchildren, Thomas (Janelle), Jordan (Megan), Shelby, Sydney, Colton, Rhett and Joel. She also leaves behind her three brothers Melvin (Elsie), Harold (Irene) and David (Mary); her in-laws Sien, Jan (Jo), Annie, Bets, Jo, Nel, Riet (Brian) and Kees (Ria) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Elvira and brother-in-law’s, Toon, Bill, Wim, Piet and Piet.
A Celebration of Donna’s Life will be held at the Chestermere Recreation Centre, Main Hall (201 West Chestermere Drive) on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 1:00 pm. to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and NWT.
