On December 14, 2013 around 17:00 Hrs, Strathmore RCMP responded to a complaint of Careless Use of a Firearms in the area of Indus, Alberta. It was determined that a residence had been struck by a bullet, which had entered the living area of the residence, and came with in approximately 10 feet of an occupant. Witnesses in the area identified hearing numerous gunshots through out the afternoon prior to the incident occurring.
Police are seeking the assistance of the public for information which would aid in the investigation, specifically for information regarding unknown person(s) shooting firearms in the area of the Indus Airfield, on Highway #22X at Range Road 282.
