Paige Gilmour of Chestermere attended the Diamonds and Dance Competition March 28th and 29th in Olds Alberta, representing Expressions the Dance Gallery of Strathmore.
“With approximately 150 entries from across Alberta, challenging each other for the top scores Paige was one of our girls who came out on top”, says Heather Thomas, Director of the Acrobatic Dance program at Expressions the Dance Gallery.
“We are so proud of her accomplishments”, says Miss Thomas.
“Two of Paige’s routines received the Diamond Award which is the highest placement, along with three Outstanding Performance Awards”, says Miss Thomas.
Paige was also chosen to participate in the “Show of Stars” which was held Sunday evening. This show presented all the top competitive numbers of the weekend.
“These are BIG wins”, says Miss Thomas. It shows that dedication, hard work and perseverance do pay off.
The faculty of EDG are excited to see the results in the next three competitions that Paige will participate in.
