Check out hundredsandthousands.ca to learn how you can participate in the Chestermere Challenge

Last week’s Anchor shared the invitation from the mysterious Hundreds & Thousands group inviting residents of Chestermere to participate in their ‘Chestermere Challenge’.  These sneaky folks are challenge Chestermere to perform their own random acts of kindness, submit them and then prizes will be awarded for the most creative, fun and community impacting.  Groups, organizations and residents have been banding together and brainstorming what their winning act of kindness will be.

But while all of this was going on, wouldn’t you know it, Hundreds & Thousands were planning their next surprise for Chestermere.  Enlisting the help of Jody Castle and the team from Mighty Neighbourly, twenty gorgeous lanterns were provided to them and they were instructed to deliver them to neighbours on Friday April 17th at 7pm.  The lanterns were divided up to members of Mighty Neighbourly and they set out on Friday evening and surprised their neighbours with these beautiful lanterns.
