Focus Taekwondo claims world cup victory

Focus Taekwon-Do recently attended two major events hosted by the International Chang Hon Taekwondo Federation (ICTF). The 2011 World Cup Championships were held in Toronto Ontario this past October and the 2011 Tri-Provincial Championships in Lloyd Minster Saskatchewan this past weekend, where Focus TKD members achieved a total of 11 Gold, 8 Silver, and 6 Bronze medals. Miss Maund, head instructor for Focus TKD, also earned two $250.00 cash prizes, and the Grand Championship Trophy. Ms. Harvey, Senior Assistant Instructor was selected as a Team Canada member for the World Cup where they took home the gold, and she achieved her 17th double gold at the Tri-Provincials.
