GIRLS’/ BOYS’ RUGBY
The rugby teams have been working hard to prepare for their season opener this Thursday. They travel to High River on Thursday to take on the Highwood Mustangs. The girls play at 5:00 and the boys at 6:30. This will be a good test for the teams. Should be some great rugby action! Best of luck to both teams.

BOYS’ SOCCER
Under the tutelage of coaches, Mr. Mitschke and Mr. Barillas, the Lakers’ soccer team is taking shape. The team has just been selected and the coaches are pleased with the group and believe they will be very competitive in the league. The team is working hard to prepare for the season opener on May 3rd.

TRACK AND FIELD
Track practice started last week and the team is training for the Rocky View Divisional Championships to be held in May. The team is coached by Ms. Mahaffey and Mr. Schaller. Practices take place Monday and Wednesday mornings at 7:30 and Thursday after school. We hope to see a large number of participants this year.
