The Chestermere Chiefs Football 2017 season is just around the corner! You may have seen us on the field at the Recreation Centre in May and June for our Spring Training and perhaps you even brought your son or daughter out to give football a try at one of our Try It Free camps!
As per Football Alberta rules we do not practice football in July but come August we will be ready to go!! Practices will start the first week of August and will run every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday for both Atom and PeeWee.
Our football season is short but oh so sweet! All games will be held in Calgary at Shouldice Athletic Park. Our PeeWee team’s games will be Saturday and our Atom team’s games will be Sunday. Our intense season wraps up the first weekend in November.
We can’t wait to see our players take to the field in August. Some of our athletes love football so much they took part in Jr. Stamps Camp hosted by the Calgary Stampeders at the end of May and Stampeder Alumni Camp at the end of June! It was great to see them running drills directed by current and former players of the Calgary Stampeders. The smiles were a mile wide that is for sure!
