Seniors Housing Task Force moves forward

City council named three of its members to the recently announced Task Force on Seniors Housing at the Dec. 4 meeting.

Deputy Mayor Cathy Burness, Councillor Michelle Young, and Councillor Mel Foat were named as council’s representatives on the task force for 2019.

Currently, the councillors are the only people on the task force as the city is still advertising for public members to join the task force.

The Task Force on Seniors Housing is intended to provide a leadership role in the development of seniors housing in Chestermere.
