I would also like to draw everyone’s attention to a great cause. Following the event local resident Rick Thirsk made a substantial donation to Leela’s Snip&Sip initiative in support of the Alberta Cancer Foundation’s Patient Family Assistance Program which pays for much needed drugs and other supports for families facing cancer.
