Chestermere Lake Middle School hosted their Terry Fox Run on Friday, Sept. 16. In total they raised $4,500 to donated to cancer research.
The Loop Around the Lake raised around $7,500 to donate towards the Chestermere Public Library, with a few donations still left to be counted. That total will be matched by 90 per cent through government funding, so the library will likely receive over $15,000 from this years event alone.
