Chestermere and Area News and Notes

There is still time to bid on the Calgary Flames items that are up for auction to benefit the restoration of Chestermere’s fire truck. The auction is being hosted on Facebook by the Chestermere Historical Foundation, and can be found under “Chestermere Historical Foundation – Fire Truck” or through the link of the Anchor Weekly’s Facebook page.

YELL will be hosting an All Candidates Forum on March 15th from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Chestermere Recreation Centre. The candidates running in the provincial election for the Chestermere – Rocky View riding will be in attendance. 

The Chestermere Rotary Club meets every Thursday at 5 p.m. at Bogey’s Restaurant at Lakeside Golf Club. Anyone is welcome to stop in and see what the club is about. For more info, e-mail rotarychestermere@gmail.com.
