Four-day spiel names top players from the area

CHESTERMERE – The Chestermere Ladies Bonspiel was held from March 1st to March 4 at the Chestermere Recreation Centre. There were 14 eager and enthusiastic teams registered, coming from Chestermere, Airdrie, Calgary and the area surrounding area.

Participants said it was a very genial atmosphere for the entirety of the four-day event, which was topped off with a Revenge of the Nerds Jeopardy Challenge.

In the end it was the Sylvia Adams team that won the “A” Event, the Marla Forth team that took the “B” Event, with the Debbie Loraas team capturing the “C” Event.
