The 2nd Annual United Way Easter Egg hunt is coming up on April 7. It costs $5 to participate, with all funds going towards the United Way Chestermere. Register ASAP by e-mail to unitedway@chestermere.ca. Include full name of chaperone, number of children attending and ages.

The next Chestermere Historical Foundation Meeting is on Tuesday, April 10 at the library at 6:30 p.m.

A free drop-in breastfeeding support group is being held at the Chestermere Public Library on Thursday April 12 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Accredited La Leche League Leader, Jen Peddlesden, will be there along with other experienced mothers and parents to answer questions and discuss a variety of issues and challenges around breastfeeding. The Great Canadian Barn Dance is taking place on April 21 at the Chestermere Recreation Centre. Tickets are still available, and are $48 each. The evening includes dinner, a show and a dance with a toe-tapping downhome country band! Call Audrey McDonald for tickets or more info at 403-272-9280.

The next Mocha Monday with Mayor Matthews is on April 2 at 9:30 a.m. at British Isles. Anyone is welcome to attend and have a coffee with the Mayor.
