Chestermere Peace Walk rescheduled

Dear Residents of Chestermere,
The 4th annual Chestermere Peace Walk which was set to take place at 6:30pm on Thursday April 26th was cancelled due to lack of attendance. In past years the Peace Walk has been organized by the members of YELL (Youth Encouraging Lasting Leadership) as well as Chestermere residence hoping to spread the message of peace and anti-bullying in our community. In previous peace walks, peace officers have escorted the walk and certainly helped in drawing attention. Chestermere is one of the fastest growing communities in Canada, so let’s keep connected and come together as a community! Wear PINK to let those around you know that you will not tolerate bullying.
The Peace walk has been rescheduled for Thursday May 24th, it will begin at 6:30Pm from the Chestermere Town Hall. The walk will begin outside of the town hall, will then make its way to Sunset Beach, then back to town hall. The event is set to take place rain or shine, so please join us in creating a wave of change in Chestermere!
