Pippa, born in England, is one of two goalies for the Raiders. Her first experience on skates was Boxing Day, 2006, at Lake Louise upon her arrival to Canada. She began playing organized hockey in 2007 with Okotoks hockey association. This is her third season playing with an AAA team. Although Pippa was pressured into playing hockey, she has grown to love the game so much that her passion for show jumping has been put on hold. Pippa placed first in a show jumping competition at Spruce Meadows in 2008. Pippa’s fondest hockey memory is shutting out Sheldon Kennedy at a student/teacher hockey game. She has trained with David Marcoux and helped out with Black Elk hockey camps in Okotoks this past summer. Pippa’s other interests include dying her hair, drawing, photoshop, show jumping, BMX and Tae Kwon do. She will graduate in 2014, and although undecided on a career, has interests in creating films, forensic investigation and special effects artistry.
