Lyalta Rec. Association Family Picnic day June 2

Hey, is everyone tired of the cold winds and cool days we been having, I’m sure am. But that’s Alberta weather for you. I think all the farmers have finished seeding and most people have their gardens in.

On June 2, the Lyalta Rec. Association is having a Family Picnic day starting at 11:30 am to 4:30pm at the Lyalta Community Centre. There will be a small concession but everything else is free. There will be games (these are optional) for all ages even adults such as horse shoes, ladder ball, bocce ball , races (potato sac , golf ball on a spoon, 3 legged race) and if the weather cooperates there will be a water balloon fight. Also, you are more than welcomed to come and camp for the weekend with it being free. This is a good time to come and meet people from the area, so come one and all, as more people the friendlier. Make some new friends and reacquaint yourself with old ones. This sounds like a lot of fun. I can’t be there but would like to but I have a previous engagement,

This past weekend was Graduation for the Grade 12 Students, so Congratulations to them all and good luck in your future endeavors’.

No one has forward to do the Lyalta news but it would nice if someone would offer. Meanwhile call me if you have any.

Thought of the Day: Self confidence is the first requisite to great undertakings.
