Mondays and Tuesdays 10:00am – BOCCE (or CARPET BOWLING if the weather is inclement)
Thursdays 9:30am – QUILTING – everyone is welcome. Come share in making “Comfort Quilts” that are passed on to Victims Services for people experiencing tragedy/have been through trauma.
Fridays 11:00am – FITNESS FOR SENIORS – The focus is strength and balance. This is a drop-in class so come when you can.
Saturdays 10:00 – 11:30am – MORNING COFFEE – Come enjoy a visit, share a joke and have some laughs.
EVENTS:
Tuesday, August 28th -5:00pm. THE “GREAT POTATO BAKE” – Come enjoy a potato as you have never seen a potato before! This promises to be a great evening of fun & laughter. You must register by calling the office by Thursday August 23 (the cost is $5.00) we need to know how many potatoes to purchase.
Wednesday, September 5th – Country Fair Preparations 6:00pm – 8:00pm: The Whitecappers are building a float for the Country Fair and a Scarecrow for the contest. Please call or stop by the office for more details. We need people to design the main Scarecrow for the “Scarecrow” contest plus we want several more scarecrows for on the float.
Saturday, September 8th – during the Country Fair: BAKE SALE + PIE ‘N ICE CREAM (drop by to enjoy a piece of pie and some ice cream as you enjoy the Fair!)
Thursday, September 20th, Day trip to Canmore/ Banff – shopping, sightseeing, golf whatever is your interest. More details will follow.
The first General Meeting of the year is September 4th, 6:30pm. (There will be Birthday cake tea & coffee served after the meeting.)
