Have you Seen This Guitar?

My name is Dan Wiseman and I am submitting this in hopes of recovering my guitar that was stolen from my car at our place on 243052 Range Road 281 Tuesday night, July 23 between the hours of 11 PM and 4 AM Wednesday morning. It is my hope to let people know that someone is prowling around the neighborhood stealing things and to warn them to lock things up at night. I work in Fort McMurray for Suncor Energy and I fly up every second Tuesday for a 7 day shift. I missed my plane on Tuesday evening and ended up flying up at 6:10 the next morning. When I got home from Field Aviation I removed my backpack and laptop from the back seat but left my guitar to take with me on the next day’s flight. When I went to leave at about 4 AM I noticed my guitar missing.
I looked around my house thinking I might have brought it in. I did not have my car, RV or shop locked and the keys were also in the ignition. I reported this to the Strathmore RCMP as well. I have an electric gate to my acreage which may have been the deterrent from taking the car or it was a young kid with no license, just a thought or feeling.
My guitar is a Seagull Acoustic cutaway with wood burning I had done on it so it is one of a kind. I had a $300 pickup installed in it before Christmas as a gift from my wife. There are strands of leaves around the perimeter of the guitar with my initials DW at the top by the neck, it has a horse on its hind legs, a cattle skull and a 1/8 moon burned into the front of it. It was in a black hard case with an Oster tuner inside, a set of strings, 2 capos, a humidifier and 6 or so sheets of music. This is the first guitar I ever owned.
I have lived here for 8 years and feel pretty good and safe about my neighborhood. I have a lobster and steak feast every year in August with invites to everyone in the neighborhood. I am phoning the pawn shops in Calgary and checking Kijij hoping to find it. With the details too personalized it would be a mistake to pawn it.
I am offering a reward for the return of my guitar or if it was returned to my front porch there would be no questions asked. I can be reached at (403) 880-6678.
The Wiseman’s acreage is located on Range Road 281 just past the municipal yard.
