Chestermere was well represented at the Spruce Meadows “Spring Welcome” Jumper show this past weekend.
10 riders, ranging in age from 6 years to 16 years, and their coaches, Joyce and Hope Enders from Sweet Talk Stables(just east of Chestermere) competed against riders from Canada and internationally in the Jumper event hosted at Spruce Meadows. This was a four day event with classes ranging from .50M all the way to 1.30M.
The athletes Ryan Bateman, Mikayla Brabant, Serenity Enders, Karissa Enders, Shaelynn Enders, Hope Enders, Kristin Gretener, Taylor Lamphee, Jessica Mcmorran and Caitlyn Peel put on an impressive performance placing in various events bringing home ribbons from 1st place through to 6th place.
Spruce Meadows is a very family friendly place and all these events are open to the public at no charge. The riders at Sweet Talk Stables would encourage anyone in Chestermere to come on down and cheer them on at the April Classic coming up soon. More pictures can be found on the Sweettalk Facebook page.
