Building a Better Community

Members of the community of all ages gathered at Camp Chestermere on Thursday to celebrate being community builders. This program, which only a few communities were awarded, was founded by Ian Hill and applied for by Patti Brown.

The Mayor and Bruce McAllister stepped to the podium to share a few words before Ian Hill made his way to the front to speak to the group and present certificates of participation and of completion.

There were 182 participants in Chestermere made pledges to make Chestermere a better community – a number that everyone should be proud of.

Well done to all the members of the program and looking forward to more years of building a better community.
