With being right in the mix of a very busy holiday season, Santa made sure to not forget all of Chestermere’s more furry residents by making a stop at the Chestermere Veterinary Clinic on Sunday December 7th.
Residents were invited to come over to the clinic and bring their pets for Photos with Santa and an Open House. Guests were greeted at the door where the friendly clinic team explained the fun things going on and were then escorted on a tour through the facility. The journey included a bit of an information collecting scavenger hunt, when at the end of the tour, completed quiz sheets were turned into the staff for a draw for $250 towards pet services at the clinic. Prize draws were also set up to enter to win a gift basket…. And as they are an equal rights clinic, there was one draw for cat lovers and one for those that prefer dogs.
Once the tour was over, Santa was waiting to have a visit with guests and their pets and to also get pictures taken. Just like with human children, some of the furry babies were a little happier to see the man in red than others, but what a great community event for a town that dearly love their animals.
