As part of ATB’s annual Teddy for a Toonie campaign, ATB Financial will be holding a family fun BBQ and fun day at the soccer field at the Chestermere Recreation Centre. This event will be running along the soccer tournament being held there. They will also have a bouncy house and some face painting going on for the kids. All funds raised will be donated to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Neuro-Critical care department. The event will take place on Sunday May 31 from 11 am to 3 pm.

Since launching in 2000, ATB Financial customers and team members have raised almost $7 million through Teddy for a Toonie.

These millions of dollars raised have helped the Alberta Children’s Hospital develop innovative rehabilitation programs and acquire state of the art equipment that saves young lives every day. This year their goal is to raise $1,000,000 through donations and fundraisers during the month of May. Those funds will support Neuro- Critical Care at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, as well as Operating Room Redevelopment at the Stollery.
