Local support keeps us going

Dear Editor,

I want to thank Phillip Grimson, of Langdon, for his shout out to Fit on the Lake in the Letters to the Editor in the September 3, 2015 issue of The Chestermere Anchor.

I would also very much like to thank Mr. Grimson for his concerns for small businesses like mine. Local support like this is what keeps us going!

While I won’t comment on funding for CRCA or the implications to Langdon and Rockyview residents, I am very excited that the CRCA is planning for a fitness facility.

The CRCA has been an incredible asset to our community over the years offering fitness programs for all age groups. I founded Fit on the Lake to complement the amazing programs that CRCA already offered and to support the growing need for health and fitness in a vibrant community.

Since bringing Fit on the Lake to Chestermere, I have experienced support from CRCA and many of their members. In turn, I have and will continue to support CRCA not only with my business but with my family as members and users of the facility. I look forward to continuing this mutual support in the years to come.

Tamara Gutierrez
Owner of Fit on the Lake
