Yes, time to think of things red–but not just Valentine’s Day Cards! The first meeting of the Chestermere Country Fair Red Ribbon Committee will be held on Monday February 9th at 6:30pm in the Board Room at the Chestermere Regional Recreation Centre. The Red Ribbon Committee will be assigning jobs, looking over the reviews from the 25th Anniversary Red Ribbon and planning for some new and exciting additions for 2015–which will probably include honey! If you would like to drop in to find out what volunteering with this committee entails, please stop by, no commitment to check us out, and hear about plans for the 2015 competition which will be September 11th and 12th 2015. There are large and small volunteer jobs to fit any busy schedule! In particular there is an opening for someone to fill in grant applications, contact/confirm some of the regular donors, and prepare the final donor and sponsor list for the 2015 Red Ribbon competition. Being able to do phone calls for the job during the day would be an asset. If you would like to help in this capacity, or any other please contact us through the CRCA office accounting@chestermerecrca.com or 403 272 7170 x 223 and speak with Carol. Also, check out our Facebook page and you can send us a PM from there.
