Strathmore RCMP – Impaired driver stopped

Strathmore, Alberta – In the early morning hours of February 2, 2015 Strathmore RCMP received a report of a possible impaired driver.

RCMP located the suspect vehicle on highway 817 south of Strathmore. The 37 year old driver was arrested for impaired driving.

During the search of the suspect vehicle, RCMP located several pieces of Police equipment inside the vehicle.

Ryan Hampton of Maple Ridge, British Columbia was charged with Impaired driving and possession of stolen property.  Hampton is being held in custody and will make his first court appearance on March 17, 2015 in Strathmore Provincial court.
