Calgary man facing charges after property searched South of City

Strathmore RCMP have charged a Calgary man after executing a search warrant South of Chestermere.
Police searched a property just south of the city in the early morning Aug. 25.
Officers discovered 2017 model year sports utility vehicle that had been reported stolen from Calgary Aug. 24. Police described it as having been professionally disassembled and believe it was destined to be sold.
A 28-year-old Calgarian was arrested as is facing several charges including possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.
