Patricia Sproule acclaimed as Rocky View Schools Ward 2 Trustee

With no one registering to run against her, Patricia Sproule was acclaimed as the Rocky View Schools Ward 2 Trustee on Nomination day Sept. 18.
“I am honoured to have been acclaimed as the Trustee for Ward 2,” said Sproule.
“I look forward to meeting with the School Councils at Indus, Sarah Thompson, Langdon, Prince of Peace and Chestermere High Schools and hearing from the residents of our community regarding their views and concerns,” she said.
With the acclimation, Sproule continues her lifelong focus working with and promoting youth in the community.
“I have spent my entire adult life advocating for children and youth,” she said, “public education is one of their fundamental rights and I believe I have a lot to offer that will support the Rocky View School Board’s efforts to create the highest quality education possible.”
As a new Trustee, Sproule said that she will be focusing on “finding ways that we can constantly build the resilience of our students in every area of their lives through incorporating strong, positive mentoring into every aspect of our school culture.”
