CAO gives first quarter report

As part of Chestermere City Council’s strategic plan and focus on transparency, the city has increased the frequency of staff reports to council.

“It’s about being open transparent, right up to date on these quarterly reports and it lets everybody in the community know exactly where we’re at,” said Chestermere Mayor Marshall Chalmers.

“I know its additional work on staff but we believe in that open and transparency,” he said.

To that end Interim Chief Administrative Officer Patrick Vincent gave his first quarter report to council covering the achievments of all city departments.

Highlights of the report included the approval of the 2018-2022 corporate strategic plan.

The first quarter report can be viewed in the May 22 council agenda found online at www.chestermere.ca.
