CUI auditor picked by council

City council passed a resolution at the May 22 meeting to reappoint PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as auditor for Chestermere Utilities Inc. (CUI).

PricewaterhouseCoopers has been the auditor for CUI since November 2013. In the submission from CUI recommend that council reappoint PricewaterhouseCoopers, the utility company wrote that, “the Board is satisfied that PwC has fullfilled its obligations under this engagement satisfactorily and unanimously recommends the reappointment of PwC as the Corporation’s auditor.”

With city council’s approval, PricewaterhouseCoopers will remain as CUI’s auditor until the end of the next annual general meeting.
