City joins regional recreation study

City council passed a resolution to approve the city’s participation in phase two of the Regional Recreation Study for The City of Calgary, Rocky View County and the City of Chestermere.

The purpose of the study is to explore opportunities for the development of inter-municipal approaches for providing recreation, cultural and community services in the region.

The cost of the study will be covered by the Alberta Community Partnership grant.
