Library hours and new programs

Here at the Chestermere Public Library, we are constantly looking for ways to make the most of every dollar. Upon reviewing our hours of operation, we have determined that certain times of the day are serving very few patrons and are therefore not the best use of staff hours. We have concluded that we will be closing an hour earlier in the evenings and opening one hour later on Saturday mornings. Our new hours begin Friday, November 1 and will be as follows:
As of NOVEMBER 1, 2019:
Monday – Thursday 10:00am – 8:00pm
Friday 10:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday 10:00am – 4:00pm
Sunday 12:00pm – 4:00pm

Baby & Rhyme Storytime Wednesdays, 10:15-10:30am
Parents and caregivers of babies (0-12 months) are invited to join us for a morning of stories, songs and rhymes to promote bonding, and the development of your baby’s language, communication, and early literacy skills. This is a drop-in program, registration is not required. This program continues up to and including Wednesday, November 6th.

Pre-School Storytime Fridays, 10:15-10:45am
We have stories, songs and fun every Friday morning at 10:15 am. This storytime is meant for families with small children. If you would like to bring more than 6 children, please call or email our Assistant Director, Cathy to make special arrangements. Cathy.burness@chestermerepubliclibrary.com
