Police recover $45,000 of stolen property

While on a regular patrol, Chestermere RCMP located and recovered about $45,000 worth of stolen property on Jan. 10.

RCMP recovered a pickup truck, two covered utility trailers and three license plates near Range Road 281 and Township Road 241A.

The recovered items had not yet been reported as stolen by the owners but were identified in the course of the investigation to have come from Calgary.

Police have returned all of the stolen property to the rightful owners and continue to investigate the discovery.
