On Jan. 8, at approximately 2:30 a.m., the Strathmore RCMP received a 9-1-1 call of a shooting that occurred at a Meadow Ridge residence in Conrich Alta.
As a result of the shooting, a 27-year-old female from Conrich was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and now remains in the hospital in critical condition.
The suspect is still at large, however, no further details of the suspect are available.
The RCMP Major Crimes are investigating the incident and remain on the scene.
