Chestermere RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two suspects involved in Saturday’s robbery.   

Chestermere RCMP responded to a robbery at a pharmacy on Marina Drive on Saturday morning at approximately 8:50 a.m.

 Two suspects entered the business and approached a pharmacy staff member with a firearm and demanded prescription pharmaceuticals, an RCMP media release said.

The suspects fled before obtaining the items and before fleeing the store an altercation took place with staff, resulting in one staff member suffering minor physical injury. 

The suspects then fled the store on foot, however, the direction of travel is unknown.

The RCMP are describing the first suspect as a female with a dark complexion, approximately 5’2,” 130 lbs, wearing a grey sweatshirt, pyjama pants, and carrying a black and yellow handbag.

The second suspect is described as a female with a dark complexion, approximately 5’2,” petite build, brown eyes, black hair, wearing a Roxy sweater, a purple and pink cap, and pyjama pants.

Chestermere RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance for any information in relation to this incident or identifying those responsible.
