The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival is back again at Prince’s Island Park in Calgary! August 26 & 27 you don’t want to miss Calgary’s headliners, Jonathan Van Ness and Andrew Schulz! On Saturday, Queer Eye’s Jonathan Van Ness will lead the way with a uniquely fun performance alongside Drag Race favourites Monét X Change and Priyanka. On Sunday, Andrew Schulz visits Prince’s Island Park with his notoriously hilarious comedy, with Annie Lederman and more to come!

September 9th Chestermere Country Fair

The Chestermere Country Fair is the oldest ongoing annual event in Chestermere, held at the recreation centre every year in September.

September 10th CALGARY

The Taste of Italy Festival is being hosted by Bridgeland Riverside Community Association from 11 am till 7 pm.

If you are Feeling like a little Italian, Come and enjoy some authentic Italian food and festivities at the 2nd annual Taste of Italy Festival! last year’s festival was a huge success and this year’s is even going to be bigger and better. Some of the same favourite vendors will be their selling their food and products. There will be live painting displays and art for sale. There will be Italian dancers, choirs and accordion players performing at different times throughout the day. There will be fun contests, such as the pizza dough contest, pasta eating contest and the grape stomping contest with prizes! There will be a small display of Italian vehicles such as Vespas and Alfa Romeos.

Come join the Family Fun Committee for a Movie Under the Stars!

Families throughout the Drumheller Valley are invited to join in on a viewing of The Good Dinosaur at the Badlands Amphitheatre on September 16, with gates opening at 6:30pm and the movie beginning at 7:30pm.

This movie was voted as top choice on the Drumheller Families Facebook page, and we can’t wait to watch it with you!

The movie and parking are both free, all families are welcome and there will be a concession on site for your snack needs! Cash and card will be accepted!

Seating is limited, so please register beforehand to ensure your spot!
