St. Gabriel The Archangel School started off their year with an awesome welcome back BBQ this past Thursday. Staff, parents and students were treated to hamburgers, chips, and cake at the welcome back BBQ. All staff, parents, and students were invited, making the attendance very high. Jugo Juice was present as well, offering awesome Mini Mango or Sipping Strawberry Smoothies for drinks.
This annual event is organized by the St. Gabriel School Council who works hard to make many school events happen such as enjoyable hot lunches . Grade 8 and 9 Leadership students were also present as they kicked off a new year, ready to volunteer wherever possible. Leadership students helped out at the BBQ by serving, setting up, and cleaning up the school gym before and after the event.
This year is St. Gabriel the Archangel’s 10th anniversary. It opened in 2001 with students from Kindergarten to Grade 9. Ten years later the school offers an awesome education to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
