Camp Opportunity for Teens in Chestermere and area

CHESTERMERE – Friends for Life are offering a Camp in Chestermere July 16 – 20th for 13 – 17 year olds. The camp is at the Chestermere Recreation Centre daily from 9:00 Am to 3:00PM except Wednesday July 18 and then it’s from 8:00 AM to 4:00PM. The focus is on managing anxiety and self-esteem and even depression. How do they do that? The teens will be using a workbook that originated in Australia and has now come to Canada. The teens will be doing lots of cool things like horseback riding, geo-caching and more. There is a large learning component to all of these activities said Yvonne and there is no charge for the camp. All lunches, snacks, activities and transportation are provided.
