CHESTERMERE – Lock the door and throw away the key at the Chestermere Country Fair. The key however won’t be thrown far away and Shane & Kameil Rozumniak are willing to retrieve it for a small fee. The shakedown is all in FUN and just a front for a Jail and Bail fundraising event at the Chestermere Country Fair. The owners of SurfSUP want to raise money for Camp Chestermere; their vision is to collect enough money to purchase a couple of Stand Up paddleboards. The paddleboards are the hottest item on the water lately and the kids at the camp are eager to pick up the activity and show their skills. Shane said, “The kids are out there trying but they don’t have the right equipment so if we are able to help them out, we all win”. The Chestermere Country Fair is September 8th, 2012 and ATCO Gas has been generous enough to loan Shane & Kameil a trailer/stage for the jail. They will be located at the south end of the Chestermere Recreation Centre near the ball diamonds.
