One thing that comes to people’s minds when they hear ‘Chestermere’ is definitely the lake. For decades it has been a place where people from all over have come to boat, fish, waterski and swim.
As most locals know, the lake is lowered each year around Thanksgiving but still provides recreation use during the winter by way of skating, ice fishing and snowmobiling.
With lowering the lake, comes the added surprise of what has ended up in the lake through the summer…..in this instance, it seems a bike made its way into the body of water which likely is a great story all in its own. Wonder what else one could find in there?
