Two cheque presentations were graciously accepted at the Chestermere Public Library happy birthday party on November 22nd.

Library Celebrates Seven Years in Chestermere

On Saturday November 22nd, the Chestermere Public Library celebrated its seventh birthday and invited all of Chestermere to come to their party. They served up delicious cupcakes and also had ‘Celebrity Story Time’ as MLA Bruce McAllister and members of the RCMP and Chestermere Fire Service read stories to the children.
Aside from story time, there was also crafts set up and a scavenger hunt to participate in. Around 250 guests attending the birthday celebrations and gave their best wishes for future success to the staff of the library.
A special presentation also took place where Bernie Maillet (Loop Around the Lake) presented the library with a $9000 cheque. Kam and Karen Khamba from Chestermere Bottle Depot also presented a cheque in the amount of $1000. Both being a very welcome happy birthday gift to the Chestermere Public Library.
