Councillor Jennifer Massig, Councillor Gail Smith, Mayor Patricia Matthews, Deputy Mayor Christopher Steeves, Councillor Patrick Watson and Councillor Stu Hutchison and members of the community participate in the ribbon cutting for the opening of the North Pathway.

On Monday October 20th, members of Town Council, a few town of Chestermere staff and local residents met for the ribbon cutting and inaugural walk of the north pathway.

On a beautiful fall day, this celebration was held to show off the new asphalt connection of the pathway that goes around the entire north end of the lake.  With Chestermere having a high volume of residents that are always looking for those areas to participate in outdoor exercise, the completed pathway is a welcome asset to the community.
